Arjun Tendulkar puts name up for Mumbai T20 league auction

Arjun Tendulkar has registered himself for the T20 Mumbai League this season. The youngster will now be up for auction, which is likely to take place in the next few weeks.

Son of cricketing icon, Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun had an impressive display in the DY Patil T20 Cup, which culminated with his selection in Mumbai’s U-23 team for a domestic one-day competition last month.

Arjun, an all-rounder, has earlier featured in Mumbai’s U-14, U-16 and U-19 levels. He also made it to India’s U-19 team last year and featured in a game against Sri Lanka.

The T20 Mumbai League is likely to get underway after the IPL. The dates are yet to be announced.

He has remodelled his action working with bio-mechanics expert Atul Gaekwad. He has also worked with his father’s one-time India teammate and former Vidarbha bowling coach Subroto Banerjee.
