Watch : Sachin Tendulkar rings the bell at CCI
Ahead of the fourth ODI between India and West Indies at the Brabourne Cricket Stadium in Mumbai, God of cricket Sachin Tendulkar rang the bell and got the game underway. The Master Blaster dropped in at the cricket ground, owned by Cricket Club of India, to ring the bell which indicates the beginning of the match. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to Twitter to post the video of the moment and wrote, “A kind of firsts here at CCI as the Master Blaster @sachin_rt rings the bell before the start of play today.” This is the first international game the Brabourne Stadium in nine years, the last one played here was an India-Sri Lanka Test match in 2009.
Tendulkar also shared video of the moment on Twitter and wrote, “Rang the bell 🔔 at Brabourne Stadium to inaugurate the 4th ODI between India & Windies. Always a blessing to go on the ground and get some grass on my shoes. 😊 Best wishes to both teams for the game today. #INDvWI.”
